Can a prompt replace Careerflow?

Build a personal job-application tracker with two halves.

The first half is a browser extension with one button. On a job posting, it extracts title, company, location, salary if present, the posting URL and the full description text, and POSTs them to a local server. Extraction rules live in a plain JSON file — one entry per hostname, each holding CSS selectors for the fields — plus a generic fallback that reads JSON-LD `JobPosting` structured data, which a surprising number of boards publish. When neither works, the extension stores the raw page text and marks the record `needs-review` rather than saving empty fields.

The second half is a local web app over SQLite: a board with the stages applied, screening, interview, offer and closed; a card per application; and a notes field. Stage changes are stored as dated events, not as a mutable column, so the board can answer "how long did I sit in screening at each company" without extra bookkeeping. Add a follow-up view listing every application with no event for N days.

Optionally, with an LLM API key, add one action: paste your resume once, and for a selected posting produce a bullet-by-bullet rewrite suggestion with the original text shown alongside. Never rewrite the stored resume automatically — output a diff a human accepts or rejects.

Do not build form autofill for arbitrary application forms. Filling somebody else's multi-page ATS reliably is the vendor's whole product, and a half-working autofill that silently submits a wrong field is worse than typing.
