A personal call-notes pipeline — drop a recording in a folder, transcribe it, summarize with a template, cut shareable clips — is a real weekend build once you're supplying the recording yourself. What doesn't come with it is automatic call capture, integrations that push notes into a CRM or docs, and team-wide sharing.

Questions
Can I import my existing Fathom recordings and notes?
The recordings, if you've saved them, yes — point the watched folder at them and this build transcribes and summarizes fresh. Fathom's own generated notes and any CRM sync history don't carry over.
Will it work on my phone?
The notes archive is a small web page, readable on a phone, but capturing and processing a call happens on the machine running the pipeline — there's no mobile capture app.
What does it cost to run?
Nothing extra for local transcription and processing; using a hosted transcription or LLM API instead costs a small amount per call, typically well under a dollar.
What's the one thing that doesn't survive the rebuild?
Automatic capture. Fathom's bot joins your calls and records them without you doing anything; here, forgetting to drop the recording into the watched folder means the call simply isn't processed.
